Microsoft again Magic Quadrant Leader in Analytics and Business Intelligence

Beitrag vom 08/03/2021

For the 14th year in a row, research and consulting firm Gartner confirms Microsoft as Magic Quadrant Leader for analytics and business intelligence.

While analysis and BI platforms (ABI platforms) used to mainly focus on their data visualisation capabilities, the current state of the art is that advanced analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence are the key areas where suppliers are differentiating themselves.

Microsoft has become a consistent leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant because Power BI optimally enables IT-driven analytical content development. The platform features a self-contained architecture that enables non-technical users to autonomously execute analytical workflows across the spectrum – from data access, ingestion and preparation to interactive analysis and insight sharing.

With its strategy, Microsoft underlines its understanding of the current requirements on the market: pricing model, minimal effort for implementation and ease of use are in the foreground.

oktant users profit

oktant uses Power BI technology to analyse and format data. Within a short time, extensive data from a wide range of ERP systems is available in key figure dashboards and dynamic reports. The further development of Power BI and the associated possibilities for different end users are consequently also used in a target-oriented way for oktant, so that auditors and responsible persons in companies profit sustainably.
